If you’re interested in adding some new devices to your smarthome, please consider using my Amazon.com show as a starting point as it really does help to support me in continuing to create new content.

Note: Amazon purchases used with these links may result in putting a small amount in my pocket.

After teasing support in a recent firmware update, Eero finally released Homekit Secure networking support to Eero Pro customers today.

Bottom Line

Unless you’re feeling really lucky, I would avoid connecting your Eero Pro system to your Apple HomeKit Home at this point in time. If you really enjoy living on the edge and you’re willing to risk blowing up your entire Apple HomeKit home to the point of a complete rebuild that’s great! For the rest of you who are here to decide whether or not this is something you really want to do, I would HIGHLY recommend not making the jump and subscribing to hear how things go over the next few weeks.
